In January 2020, Vinnova presented a council with three internationally leading innovation experts who will contribute knowledge on how Sweden can strengthen its innovative capacity: Mariana Mazzucato, Bertil Andersson and Banny Banerjee.

On 8 September, the experts will take part in a webcast meeting where they will present their views on what Sweden and the world should do to move towards sustainable development in the wake of the crisis. Also participating are Vinnova's director general Darja Isaksson and Gabriel Wikström, national coordinator for Agenda 2030.
