Vinnova wants to contribute to a clear direction towards sustainable digital transformation.
Digital transformation is a prerequisite for achieving sustainable transformation in a number of areas. How we manage the digital transition affects, for example, how well we manage the green transition in society as a whole and also the goals in Agenda 2030.
Vinnova's role is to, together with society's actors enable innovation and collaboration to drive technical solutions, new collaborations and new ways of using data. Through collaboration, knowledge exchange and offers of funding, we want to contribute in these areas:
Through collaboration within and between these areas, we want to enable digital transformation for increased competitiveness - where Swedish innovation both becomes an export product and contributes to global sustainability.
Important perspectives in the four focus areas are sustainability, internationalization, standardization and the supply of skills.
During the spring, Vinnova, the Swedish Post and Telecom Agency (PTS), the Swedish Agency for Digital Administration (DIGG) and the Swedish Research Council (VR) produced proposals that will strengthen Sweden's digital capabilities.
