With international cooperation, we create more and better business opportunities, strengthen research and education, support innovation processes and attract investments and expertise to both Sweden and partner countries.

Among other things, we connect companies and organizations in Sweden with actors in other countries and promote international collaborations in research and innovation. We do this by identifying, mobilizing and financing activities in priority areas.

Identify

We identify areas where we need to strengthen the ability to innovate in order to achieve Agenda 2030 and strengthen Sweden's competitiveness. The work takes place in collaboration with other actors, for example other authorities and Business Sweden.

Mobilize

We open doors by getting the right actors to find each other and spread the knowledge about Swedish innovation opportunities. We initiate collaboration between actors by arranging and participating in events, meetings and visits, both large and small. We also have permanent offices in Israel, Brussels and the USA that act as hubs for many of our investments. We are the lubricant that makes the international innovation machinery work with less friction.
