The project will meet critical needs of various community actors, where AI and IT can make a difference. Both those who have a specific need for help and those who wish to contribute with expertise in AI and digitalisation can contact Governo, which is a consulting company focused on public sector development.
These may include, for example, sampling capacity, stable material supply, reduced spread of infection, reliable and rapid dissemination of information and reliable data as a basis for decision making.
- The ability to quickly connect different actors in society is important to be able to seize opportunities in the shadow of the crisis and find new solutions that help to get us out of it. That ability to change is also needed in the longer term to meet other major societal challenges, says Laurent Saunier, head of department at Vinnova.
Some of the initiatives that are underway are about 3D printing of critical spare parts for ventilators, alternative ways to conduct infection detection and development of Bris chatbot when more children need support during the crisis.
- It is fantastic to see the power that is gathered and what a difference the different actors can make for all the social sectors that are now under severe pressure, not least in healthcare, school and care, says Caroline Andersson, CEO of Governo.
Governo and some of the world's largest companies in IT and AI, together with researchers in the field, took the initiative to #vitecherupp. About 100 companies and researchers have joined to contribute with support and knowledge. The project will receive SEK 500,000 in grant to quickly evaluate and analyze the potential of the various initiatives.
