Purpose and goal
Sensory Analysis with AI´s (SENSAI) objective is to digitize and improve sensory analysis with AI in order to improve product quality and process efficiency in industry.
Expected effects and result
SENSAI is expected to deliver a prototype (PoC) of an AI-enhanced sensory analysis system that can effectively evaluate the odor of packaging materials. This will improve the objectivity, safety and efficiency of industrial processes. By integrating AI and traditional methods, the project contributes to strengthening Swedish industry with a scalable and innovative solution that promotes sustainability.
Planned approach and implementation
SENSAI is structured in four work packages: data preparation, model development, model validation and project management. Data collection and analysis occurs first to build a robust foundation. An AI model is then developed and fine-tuned for sensory analysis. The model is tested and validated on known and unknown materials. The project is managed agilely with iterative testing and communication strategies for efficient dissemination of results and methods.
