Big Science Business Forum 2018

On 26-28 February 2018, Big Science Business Forum 2018 (BSBF2018) joined Tivoli Congress Center in Copenhagen. Here, the major European research facilities, such as CERN, ESS, ESO, F4E, XFEL, were gathered to tell about their purchasing needs in the coming years and meet suppliers.

Participating in BSBF2018 is a unique opportunity for Swedish companies to be seen and to meet technicians and buyers from eight Big Science-anläggningar as well as hundreds of other companies at Big Science-marknaden. It opens up important opportunities to find business opportunities with both facilities and with other European companies.

During Big Science Business Forum 2018 there was also an integrated industrial exhibition with a limited number of stands. Big Science Sweden invites your company to participate in the Big Science Sweden stand.

Workshop ESS November 24, 2017

On Friday, November 24, 2017, Vinnova invited a workshop on ESS and Max IV together with the Swedish Research Council and the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth, and in close consultation with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Enterprise and Energy. The theme was Together for world-class international research - so we jointly go from strategy to action.

Over 120 participants, leading decision makers and key people in the ecosystem around ESS and Max IV, participated in an interactive workshop to discuss important efforts to stimulate the use of the research facilities.

HiLumi Industry Day at CERN

May 22-23 May Big Science Sweden participated with several Swedish companies at CERN's3rd HiLumi Industry Day. International Particle Accelerator Conference, IPAC'17

14-19 maj hölls IPAC'17, världens största konferens om partikelacceleratorer. På den industrimässa som anordnades i anslutning deltog svenska företag och actors under det gemensamma paraplyet Big Science Sweden. Syftet var att marknadsföra svenska leverantörer, erbjuda kunskapsutbyte mellan akademi och näringsliv samt skapa en arena för samarbete leverantörer emellan. Och många affärer gjordes redan på plats, då deltagarna på mässan utgjorde rätt målgrupp.
